Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data Redcoast Technologies ("Redcoast", "we") collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Redcoast Technologies, [registered address], [Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number]. For any privacy question, email hello@redcoasttechnologies.com.
What we collect and why
- Stack check form. Your email address and, if you provide them, your name, company, role, company details, the tools you use and your answers to open questions. We use this to prepare and send your stack scorecard and to follow up about it. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Booking a stack review. When you book a call, the booking tool collects your name, email and any details you add. We use this to hold the review. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Website analytics. We measure visits and button clicks in aggregate using a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or track you across websites. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Server logs. Our hosting keeps technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting, for up to [30] days. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If you open the booking tool, that provider may set cookies strictly necessary for the booking to work.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement:
- Form service: [provider, location]
- Booking tool: [provider, location]
- Analytics: [provider, location]
- Hosting: [provider, location]
- Email: [provider, location]
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Form answers and booking details are kept for up to [12 months] after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We may keep anonymised, aggregated insights (for example, which tools are most common at a given company size) without any link to you.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before. Email hello@redcoasttechnologies.com, and we'll respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
